Reel Truck & Auto Parts is committed to supplying a range of quality products that are sourced from reputable suppliers.
Terms of Coverage
Reel Truck & Auto Parts warrants (subject to the terms and conditions of this warranty agreement) directly to you as the initial purchaser, for the warranty period set out on the Reel Truck & Auto Parts product’s packaging, that this part is free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
This Warranty is not transferable.
The Warranty period commences on the date the sale occurs either ‘Over the Counter’ purchases or ‘Online’ purchases.
Reel Truck & Auto Parts will, at the option of Reel Truck & Auto Parts, and subject to the terms and conditions of this Warranty agreement, replace at Reel Truck & Auto Parts cost any part or parts or pay the cost of replacing the part to the reasonable satisfaction of Reel Truck & Auto Parts, defective in materials.
Statutory guarantees and warranties set out in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 are implied into this Warranty Agreement and cannot be excluded by law (“Non Excluded Guarantees”). In particular, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The warranties in this Warranty Agreement are independent of and in addition to the Non Excluded guarantees. This Warranty Agreement does not purport to modify or exclude the Non-Excluded Guarantees.
Except as expressly set out in this Warranty Agreement or in respect of the Non Excluded Guarantees, Reel Truck & Auto Parts makes no other warranties to you. Reel Truck & Auto Parts liability in respect of these warranties is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitations of Reel Truck & Auto Parts Warranty
IT IS AGREED THAT, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REEL TRUCK & AUTO PARTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE INCURRED AS A RESULT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH ANY DEFECT including, but not limited to, loss of profits or income, damage to vehicle, attachments, trailer and cargo, towing expenses, legal costs or expenses, liability you may have in respect of any other person or miscellaneous expenses such as fuel, telephone, accommodation, travelling, freight, downtime, overtime and holiday labour.
To the extent any provision of this warranty contravenes the law of any jurisdiction, such provision, and the remainder of the warranty shall not be affected.
Making a Claim
To make a claim under this warranty:
- You must at your own cost return the goods to Reel Truck & Auto Parts for inspection by Reel Truck & Auto Parts
- You must produce proof of purchase. No refund will be given without full receipt.
- The fault must not have been caused by misuse, neglect, modification or improper use, nor occurred through normal fair wear and tear.
Reel Truck & Auto Parts reserves the right to inspect and test defective part(s) that are the subject of any claim under this Warranty Agreement for the purpose of determining the extent of any defect and the validity of any such claim.
All costs incurred in considering and dealing with a warranty claim shall be the responsibility of the customer including shipping and handling, travel expenses and lost time.
The Warranties given under the Reel Truck & Auto Parts Warranty Agreement is given on Sale of all Parts excluding Oil & other consumables
